Aims of the ATC
- To promote and encourage among young people a practical interest in aviation and the Royal Air Force.
- To provide training which will be useful in the Services and civilian life.
- To foster the spirit of adventure and develop qualities of leadership and good citizenship.
129 Squadron is situated at the Territorial Army base on St. Johns Road, Tunbridge Wells. As a Squadron we have about 80 Cadets who regularly attend the squadron and 11 members of staff (2 Uniformed RAFVRT Officers, 1 Warrant Officer, and 8 Civilian Instructors).
129 Squadron parades every Tuesday and Thursday (7:00 until 9:30) and we also do numerous weekend activities such as Navigation days, Shooting, Flying, Gliding, Rock Climbing and lots more.
