Squadron visit to IWM Duxford – January 2023
The cadets were treated to a tour around @thesuffolkspitfire and a few lucky ones were even able to sit inside and have a little play with the controls. The cadets were then able to explore the museum for a few hours before meeting back at the tower to watch the same Spitfire they toured around perform a display.
The day concluded with a tour around Duxford Airfield Fire & Rescue Service’s trucks, giving the cadets a unique insight into how firefighters work. We’d like to express our thanks to George and Iain for all their efforts with Spitfire RW382, as well as Duxford Fire for providing a great tour.
