Duke of Edinburgh award
The cost for joining the Bronze DoE program is £80.00 This covers DoE entry fee and provides a contribution towards the squadron’s costs in running expeditions and providing equipment. After successful completion of their Bronze, the squadron pays for ensuing Silver and Gold Awards.
Duke of Edinburgh Silver expeditions
Pay for Silver DofE practice and an assessed expeditions. The two expeditions will be on 5-7 September 2025 (practice) and the 26-28 September 2025 (assessed).

Our main annual week-long adventure training camp in North Wales in August 2025. Precise dates to be confirmed. Great value at £250, always hugely popular with cadets. Places are limited. Early booking advised.

Monthly subscriptions
Cadet subscriptions are the main source of squadron income and support the running of squadron activities. The monthly subscription fee is £20 a month. Payments are made by standing order on the first day of each month. Please use internet banking to setup your standing order to the squadron’s bank account, detailed below. Payment references should include the cadet surname, first initial and the word ‘subs’.
e.g. Monthly subscription standing order for Cadet Joe Bloggs would be reference: BLOGGS, J. SUBS
Other payments
For other ad-hoc payments please include cadet surname and first initial followed by the activity code and the year. Examples below:
– Mereworth Camp 2023 would be reference: SURNAME, I. MW23
For shoe orders we need to know both the style and size, so please reference as follows:
– Parade Shoes, for female style shoes, size 7 would be reference: SURNAME, I. SH F 7 – Parade Shoes, for male style shoes, size 6.5 would be reference:
